With so much activity in laundry rooms occurring at counter-level or lower, the upper section of walls is ideal real estate for storage. Economy grade wall cabinets use MDF as the building material for the box, while higher-grade cabinets use 1/2-inch A-grade plywood with wood veneer.
Since most wall cabinets are permanently fixed and use higher grade materials, they tend to have a much longer life. We also advise that customers use a material that has a wrap - meaning its resistant to water / water damage.
Most laundry room cabinets are essentially the same build as kitchen wall cabinets—meaning you have a wide range of style options, from a basic white to a more lux finish. Some customers choose to save money by going with lower cost surfaces like thermoplastic or melamine. Higher cost hardwood veneers give your laundry room a finished, premium touch.
Pricing ranges depending on the size of the cabinetry required (full door/half door/material selected). We suggest giving us a call to require a free on site visit.
